  • Conditions of admission English and American Studies Teaching English Language and Literature in combination with a second subject - obtaining a university degree of the first (bachelor's) degree or the second (master's/engineering/doctoral) degree

The interview is conducted in both Slovak and English and verifies the applicant's knowledge, skills and competences at the level of the Bachelor's degree programme (English language proficiency at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference
  • possession of adequate knowledge of the English language, literature and culture of English-speaking countries
  • the ability to think, interpret and present analytically, including in English language). The interview also identifies personal and motivational prerequisites for study (including proficiency in the Slovak language at a minimum level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference). The maximum number of points is 10. The minimum number of points for passing the admission examination is 6 (out of 10).
