- Conditions of admission For the applicant, the admission procedure starts with the delivery of their application to the faculty which is conducting the relevant study programme. The Technical University of Košice (TUKE) accepts applications for the academic year 2026/2027 only in an electronic version . The applicant for the study at TUKE is no longer obligated to print the electronic application and to send it in a paper form by mail. The new form of the Electronic Application was launched on November 13, 2018. The application must be delivered in an electronic form without the advanced electronic signature using the TUKE Academic Information System (IS MAIS) , which allows the study applicant to verify registration of the application in IS MAIS from the date of its submission to the last day of the admission procedure. All attachments can be uploaded in .pdf format to IS MAIS (curriculum vitae, education certificates, school leaving certificate, proof of payment of the admission procedure fee and other attachments according to the faculty requirements). For application registration, please use the following link: Additional information Specific admission conditions for the Pilot study program The condition for studying the Pilot study program is the timely completion of a medical examination (at one's own expense) by 31.08.2025 and obtaining a certificate of airworthiness of at least 2nd class (1st class is recommended) in accordance with EASA aviation legislation. It is possible to undergo a health check-up in authorized medical facilities or at authorized doctors (pay attention to longer appointment times): the provision of studies in the study program Pilot is practical flight training. The minimum required level of training during the course is to obtain a PPL(A) private pilot license. Applicants who have already obtained a pilot season before the start of their studies or have started flight training (also on other individual aircraft) will be assessed. The costs of practical flight training are covered by the students themselves. Practical flight training during studies is carried out in partner training organizations of the Faculty of Aviation.
