  • Conditions of admission The condition of admission to the Master's study programme "Psychology" (full-time form) in the field of Psychology is that the applicant has completed: bachelor's degree in Psychology in the study programme "Psychology" or a Master's degree in Teaching and Educational Sciences in the programme of study "Teaching Psychology (Combined)". In this case, the dean has the right to oblige the candidate to take a distinction examination during the first year of study, focusing on the foundations of psychology. Conditions for international students Foreigners study at the Faculty of Psychology as: a) students according to the Higher Education Act and the study regulations of the school, b) on the basis of international treaties to which the Slovak Republic is bound, 5 c) on the basis of cooperation agreements, international programmes and programmes of the European Union. Foreign applicants and applicants who have completed their secondary education or part thereof abroad are obliged, pursuant to Act No 596/2003 Coll. on state administration in education and school self-government and on amendment and supplementation of certain regulations, as amended, to apply to the competent regional education authority for recognition (nostrification) of the document of education of a graduate of secondary school abroad, or for the issuance of a certificate of equivalence of the document of education (in the case of states with which the Slovak Republic has concluded an agreement on mutual recognition of documents of education).
