  • Conditions of admission The key admission requirement is to obtain a Bachelor´s degree (in accordance with the Higher Education Act 131/2002 Coll. as amended) in the same or similar field of study. Conditions for international students Foreign applicants for study are admitted on the basis of relevant interstate agreements or, if they study in a language other than the state (Slovak) language, they pay tuition fees according to the conditions set out in Section 92(8) of the Higher Education Act. Tuition fees are set by a UNIZA directive and published for the relevant academic year on the University's website. Foreign applicants (except applicants from the Czech Republic) who wish to study in the state language are required to successfully pass a language test in Slovak language with the achievement of at least B1 level. The language test in Slovak language must be passed no later than by the deadline of the admission procedure - 28.5.2026, while a foreign applicant may pass it only once in the calendar year of the admission procedure. Successful completion of the language test is a condition for admission to the study. Applicants from the Czech Republic may use the form valid in the Czech Republic to apply for studies.
