• Conditions of admission The basic condition for admission to the bachelor's programme is the acquisition of a complete secondary or complete secondary vocational education. Additional information Applicants for study shall be ranked according to the following criteria: Applicants whose grade point average is equal to or lower than 1.7 , calculated from final reports for the 1st–3rd year and the mid-year report of the 4th year of the secondary school , or alternatively from final report for the 1st–4th year and the mid-year report of the 5th year of secondary school . Applicants who placed among the top three positions in the regional or national round of the Economic Olympics . Applicants who achieve a percentile score of 50 or higher in the basic version of the General Study Aptitude Test (VSP) . Other applicants who participate in the admission procedure for all bachelor’s study programs, which is conducted in the form of written examinations in two elective subjects , shall be ranked based on the evaluation of the admissions examination results . The decisive criterion shall be the total number of points achieved in both tests . Upon the applicant’s request, an applicant with specific needs shall be provided with an appropriate form of the entrance examination and the method of its administration , determined on the basis of an assessment of the applicant’s specific needs , with due regard to those needs. International applicants (with the exception of applicants from the Czech Republic and those who completed the secondary school leaving examination in Slovak language) who apply for a study program offered at SUA Nitra in Slovak language are required to take an online test and an online oral interview designed to assess their proficiency in the Slovak language. The testing is administered by the Language Centre of SUA Nitra in two dates about which applicants will be informed in advance. After completing the language examination, the applicant will be issued a certificate summarizing the results of the online test and online interview, which will correspond to the language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The test and certificate are subject to a fee of €30. If the applicant’s language proficiency level is below A1, they will not be admitted to the study program. If the applicant’s language proficiency level is A1, they have met one of the conditions for admission but are required to complete a 30-hour paid Slovak language course organized by the Language Centre of SUA Nitra (course fee: €120). Upon completion of the course, the applicant will receive a certificate of completion. If the applicant’s language proficiency level is A2 or higher, they have met one of the conditions for admission. In addition to demonstrating language proficiency, international applicants for bachelor’s study in Slovak will be admitted based on their performance in the basic version of the General Study Aptitude Test (VSP) or the General Academic Prerequisites (GAP) test, achieving a percentile score of 50 or higher. The test is administered by Scio, including online. The GAP test may be taken multiple times, and the best result achieved will be considered for the applicant. Testing dates, sample tests, and registration conditions are published at . Registration for the GAP test and the payment of any associated fees are the responsibility of each applicant (registration form at ). An applicant who properly registers for the GAP test will receive an exam invitation by email from Scio approximately 10 days before the test. International applicants for bachelor’s study who apply for a study program offered at the Faculty of Economics and Management, SUA Nitra, in English will be admitted based on their performance in the General Academic Prerequisites (GAP) test, achieving a percentile score of 50 or higher. The test is administered by Scio, including online. The GAP test may be taken multiple times, and the best result achieved will be considered for the applicant. Testing dates, sample tests, and registration conditions are published at . Registration for the GAP test and the payment of any associated fees are the responsibility of each applicant (registration form at ). The faculty does not organize these tests, nor does it register applicants or invite them to take the test. An applicant who properly registers for the GAP test will receive an exam invitation by email from Scio approximately 10 days before the test . As part of the admissions procedure, applicants are also required to demonstrate English language proficiency. The following certificates are accepted for admission: IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge. - IELTS : accepted score from 6.0 and higher in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking), - TOEFL : accepted score of iBT (online): 80-90 points and PBT (paper-based test): 550-575 points, - Cambridge : accepted minimum level of B2 or C1/C2. Without entrance examinations yes Conditions of admission without the entrance exam The entrance examination may be waived, and applicants shall be admitted to study if they meet the following criteria: applicant whose grade point average is equal to or lower than 1.7 (calculated from the final report for the 1st–3rd year and the mid-year report of the 4th year of secondary school, or alternatively from the final report for the 1st–4th year and the mid-year report of the 5th year of secondary school), applicant who placed among the top three positions in the regional or national round of the Economic Olympics, The entrance examination may be waived, and applicants shall be admitted who achieve a percentile score of 50 or higher in the basic version of the General Study Aptitude Test (VSP). The weights of all sections of the VSP test are equal. The test may be taken as part of the National Comparative Examinations (NPS), which are administered by Scio in several cities in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The faculty considers the results of both the Slovak version of the test (VSP Z) and the Czech version (OSP Z). Applicants may choose which language version they wish to take. An applicant who registers properly for the VSP test will receive an exam invitation by email from Scio approximately 10 days before the test. All applicants who submit an application and meet at least one of the conditions for waiving the entrance examination shall be conditionally admitted to study (without entrance examination). For this reason, applicants who take the secondary school leaving examination in the current school year must additionally submit their examination results.
