- Conditions of admission The basic condition for admission to the Bachelor degree studies is the acquisition of complete secondary education or complete secondary vocational education (Section 56(1) of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts, as amended). The applicant must have passed a state examination in Slovak language (or Czech language) or another certified examination proving their level of Slovak (or Czech) language proficiency at least at level B1. The Slovak language exam can be taken through ECL (Regional Testing Center for Slovak Language Exams). There is a fee for this service. Detailed information is available at: The applicants will be admitted, without taking an entrance exam, according to the number of points on a waiting list based on their results in secondary school, significant achievements in competitions and language exams Application for studies must be submitted by 31.03.2026 Additional information The application form is to be submitted:
- on the prescribed form (the applicant fills in the application form, signs it in his/her own handwriting, attaches the proof of payment of the fee, provides the relevant attachments and delivers it personally to the Study Office of the Faculty or sends it by post), or
- by e-application (preferred method) (the applicant fills in the electronic application form, clicks to send it, attaches the required attachments in pdf format to the electronic application form) Required attachments:
- Secondary school results from the electronic pupil record book (including grades from the half-year report card for the final year of study) or end-of-year report cards for the two years of study preceding the year in which the matriculation examination is held and the half-year report card for the year of study in which the matriculation examination is held
- Officially certified school leaving certificate

- Photocopies of evidence of having passed a national foreign language exam or another exam demonstrating a foreign language level of at least B2
- Photocopies of diplomas (certificates) of participation in competitions and Olympiads at regional, national or international level Conditions for international students Applicants from abroad and Slovak citizens who completed their secondary education abroad (except for the Czech Republic) must also submit: A certificate proving the level of knowledge of Slovak language (or Czech language) at least at B1 level.
